Carolina Prep is pleased to offer a blend of the leading Primary School curricula. It is important to begin foundations of knowledge in the early grades because that is when children are the most receptive. As a private, independent school, teachers are free to think about how to best teach the material. They can bring their own personal knowledge, enthusiasm, and interest into teaching the curriculum topics. Carolina Prep’s curriculum and culture forms the basis for true lifelong learning.

Our Art program is based on Core Knowledge and National Art Education Standards which cover art history, creative expression, aesthetic awareness, and critique.
After researching the top Foreign Language programs nationwide and reviewing national standards and the common European framework, we developed our own thematic-based curriculum that follows the natural sequence of language learning.
Carolina Prep's Music education program is based on national music standards, and culminates each year with the students performing a musical production.
Our Physical Education program provides students with broad and diverse experiences five days a week.
