Carolina Prep is located off Roper Mountain Road Extension in Greenville, South Carolina. Our modest building is nestled behind a gently rolling front lawn adorned with dogwood trees that burst with color. Our school values excellence in academics, nurtures a love of enrichment programs and the arts, and celebrates individual cultures and ethnic backgrounds.

This is our story.

In the summer of 2010, a dedicated group of parents, teachers, and administrators shared a common vision to open a very uncommon school.

Our small band of visionaries was armed with a broad spectrum of business talents, a relentless drive for success, and an overwhelming desire to create a school for our children that would truly impact the trajectory of their lifelong academic achievements.

Our curriculum celebrates the vast potential of the youngest of learners through our infant sign language program, hands-on learning, positive peer interactions, and sequential lesson plans. We continue through the fifth grade with skills-based mathematics programs, experiment-driven science studies, cumulative world history and geography, positive character and manners programs, effective use of technology, and a respect for diversity of thought and of culture.

Our enrichment studies include music, art, physical education, and foreign language. Although many schools are phasing these courses out of their curricula, we believe they are fundamental to developing many critical skills: listening, speaking, reading, cultural understanding, spatial and perspective awareness, fine motor skills, coordination, teamwork, and an appreciation for an active lifestyle.

During the first year, we conquered many challenges and delighted in many small victories. Today, Carolina International Preparatory School has better than tripled its initial enrollment.

In these halls, we can hear our children's laughter. We can see broad smiles. We can see the wheels turning as they discover a new idea or explore uncharted waters. We are embraced by a safe, nurturing environment that creates a love for learning and a sense of community that is all too often forgotten. We can see a bright future for our children and for our world.
