A Note About
Our Board
Carolina Prep is fortunate to have a Board of Directors who come from all walks of life. They are doctors, attorneys, entrepreneurs, and others. They are gifted visionaries and energetic leaders. But first and foremost, they are parents.
A Parent's
Experience
Carolina Prep's approach to education is reflected in the measureable progress of the Pre-Schoolers and the ITBS scores of the Primary School students. Carolina Prep has changed the way I see education and my appreciation for the vast potential of our youngest, most precious minds.
Our infants are communicating with us through different cries, body language, facial expressions, eye contact, and can engage in really meaningful, learning play. As they grow, sign language expands their communication skills, develops their coordination, and strengthens the social bond they enjoy with their care providers and family. As toddlers, their mobility magically broadens their world and they are driven by enormous curiosity and a desire to positively interact with their peers. Pre-Schoolers are able to learn letters, begin phonetics, enjoy word patterns, rhythm, and rhyme.
In Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, Carolina Prep follows a masterful, sequential curriculum which builds knowledge, increases retention, and simply makes learning fun.
