Extracurricular activities
Carolina Prep's After School Program is available from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Our After School teachers ensure that homework has been completed correctly, and reviews missed material with each child.
1:15 teacher/student ratio.
Snacks are provided, and children have access to the computer lab and the playground and/or gym, as well as theatre on Fridays.
In addition to serving our own Primary School students, Carolina Prep also offers student pickup from Oakview, Buena Vista, and the Michelin School.
Carolina Prep offers parents convenience by bringing many popular extracurricular programs on-site, so that parents can simply take their children home in the evening, rather than drive to a myriad other activities.
Carolina Summer Adventures themed day camps offer fun and challenging activities during the summer.
Last year's camps featured Mad Scientist week, Calling All Cartoonists week, a photography week, and several others.

Join the club!
After School is excited to announce that we started three new clubs! The students had the opportunity to practice democracy by nominating and voting for the club they would most enjoy. The Photography Club will be exploring camera options, lighting techniques, and seeing the world through new eyes. The Computer Club is geared up to expand their technological skills by learning more components of everyday software programs and typing. The Animal Club will be investigating different species, their habits and how they contribute to their unique environments.
It's music to our ears.
We are delighted to offer 30-minute on-site weekly piano, violin, and guitar lessons, culminating with a recital in the spring.
Music lessons are provided by local music teacher Annette Genovesi, who also offers lessons in viola and cello.
For more information, contact Annette Genovesi at 864.294.0561.
